Flooring

The typical floor installation requires first removing the old one. Depending on the floor choice the surface underneath (sub-floor) will need some kind of preparation, and in some cases, a complete replacement. This is an important part of the installation and doing it properly will let your new floor last longer. Your new floor will also need some kind of a base board and that can be made from different materials and finishes, such as wood, metal, tiles, etc.
Different installation techniques are used depending on the type of flooring/sub-flooring and location.

Roofing
At Southland Remodeling, Inc, we have seen what happens when roofing problems are ignored. Roofing is definitely one of the things we recommend replacing when it’s due! When a roof is leaking its overdue! Unless you have no choice we do not recommend patching, its only good for a short time if any. Sometimes it’s hard to determine whether your roof needs replacing but there are signs you can look out for like: missing shingles, shingles wearing down or loosing color, chipping, flaking etc… if you’re not sure call a professional and get a free inspection. A leaking roof means more problems later like termites (attracts to moist wood), dry wrought, mold, and more money out of your pocket when you tackle the problem (wood replacement, ceiling repair etc…) DON’T WAIT ON ROOFING!!!
