The bathroom is a very wet place and it is probably the most sensitive room when it comes to remodeling! Every step in remodeling a bathroom must be done the right way. There is simply no room for poor workmanship or quality. Getting poor labor will cost you dearly: over the years I have been called to redo many bathrooms (some after just few months) and I have seen every possible mistake, from a bad shower pan to paint that produces mold after 3 months… sometimes you just won’t know until years later, that underneath your beautiful tile lays a layer of nasty health damaging bacteria known as mold. Here is an example of badly done shower that I was called to replace only 3 years after it was completely remodeled.
